Schulte joins the UW-Stevens Point coaching staff one year removed from concluding his wrestling career with a highly successful senior season.

As a senior in 2013-14, Schulte earned All-American status by finishing eighth at the National Championships and was a Second Team All-WIAC selection.
The appearance in the national tournament was the third for Schulte, who also qualified as a freshman and a sophomore. He placed second at the WIAC Championships in each of his first two seasons.

For his career, Schulte posted a 78-45 record at UW-Stevens Point.
