Joel enters his second year as an assistant coach for the Pointers. This season he will take over the roll of recruiting coordinator for the Pointers

A three-time national qualifier, Burdick lends his experience to the middle weight classes. Burdick was an All-American in 2005 with a seventh place finish at nationals while posting a 31-10 overall record. He completed his four-year career with an 86-44 overall record.

Burdick was the outstanding wrestler at the 2005 WIAC championships after winning the 141-pound conference title.
