David Davila enters his third year as an assitant coach after spending two years as a student assistant. He runs the team study hall as well.
Davila compiled a 53-52 record during his four seasons with 166 takedowns and six pins. He competed in three WIAC championships, placing fifth as a freshman, second as a junior and fourth as a senior. Davila had a 19-12 record as a senior and a 19-11 mark during his junior year. He wrestled at 125.
A Chicago native, Davila had 103 career prep wins and was a freestyle and greco-roman state champion. He also was a three-time state qualifier. He has a degree in chemistry and spanish.
