Gross was a three-time Cadet World Team member as well as a three-time Junior World team member, earning gold and silver medals at the Cadet World Championships. She has been a Senior National Team member three-times, and an Olympic Alternate after finishing 2nd at the Olympic Trials in 2021. Gross is also a Pan-Am Champion.

She is the founder of Ronna Gross Wrestling, where she runs camps, practices and sells wrestling-based apparel. Competitively, she wrestles for the Sunkist Kids Wrestling Club.

Gross lives in Madison with her husband Seth, who is an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin and represented the U.S. at the World Championships in Serbia this year, placing 5th. He was also a Division I Champion at South Dakota State University.
