Opsal (pronounced UP-saul) enters her second season at UWSP in 2018. She came to UWSP from Minnesota where she was a coach of the UM men's club volleyball team for four years.
She helped the Gophers to a Top-20 national finish and coached eight all-conference players during her tenure.
Opsal played at Augsburg from 2008-2011 as a defensive specialist. In her final season with the Auggies, she was a recipient of the 2011 MIAC Sportsmanship Award as a team captain. She also received the 2009 Auggie Award at Augsburg.
She participated in the beach volleyball competition as AVP and NVL qualifiers.
During her time at Augsburg, Opsal coached youth teams from 2008 through 2015. She majored in marketing and business management and received her bachelor's degree in 2012.
