Kelsea Martalock is in her first year as the graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for UW-Stevens Point athletics.
A native of Tomah, Wis., Martalock earned her bachelor’s degree in health promotion and wellness from UWSP in May 2012, minoring in nutrition and strength & conditioning.
Martalock was a two-time letterwinner with the Pointers women’s hockey team, appearing in 43 games her junior and senior seasons. Prior to UW-Stevens Point, she played two seasons at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. She appeared in 49 games for the Royals from 2007-09.
Prior to joining the UW-Stevens Point strength & conditioning staff, Martalock served one season as an assistant women’s hockey coach at UWSP, also serving as the team’s strength & conditioning coach. She also spent time as an intern with the University of Wisconsin’s men’s and women’s hockey programs. Martalock also serves as a coach for youth hockey teams in the Central Wisconsin area.
Martalock resides in Stevens Point.
