University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Jessi Sporle is in her third season as graduate assistant for the UWSP women’s basketball team.
 
Before becoming a graduate assistant, Sporle served as a student assistant for the Pointers’ 2009-10 team that reached the NCAA Division III Elite Eight.
 
The Mineral Point, Wis., native played for the Pointers from 2005-09. She was a four-time letterwinner, a two-year starter and named captain her senior season. Sporle was awarded Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention as a senior and earned the Pointer Award for embodying what it means to be a Pointer.
 
Sporle was a member of the 2007-08 and 2008-09 WIAC Tournament championship teams that also made appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
 
Sporle is pursuing her master’s degree in general education. Sporle completed her undergraduate studies in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in health promotion, including minors in coaching and strength & conditioning.
