2011-12: Played in 19 games making one start … Scored 33 points and grabbed 21 rebounds … Tallied a season-high in points with seven and tied a season-high with four rebounds against Calvin College on March 3.

2010-11: Appeared in 17 games … Scored a season-high five points against MSOE on Dec. 19 … Pulled down 17 rebounds, good for one rebound per game … Had a season-high four rebounds against Hamline on Nov. 18.

2009-10: Selected to WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team … Played in 21 games, starting two … Had a season-high eight points twice, against UW-Platteville on Jan. 13 and Luther on Dec. 11 … Averaged 9.7 minutes per game … Missed part of the season due to injury.

2008-09: Played in 15 games … Recorded four blocked shots … Had season high points (9) and rebounds (5) against Lawrence on Jan. 5.

HIGH SCHOOL: Member of 2008 Division 3 state runner-up team in soccer … Earned two letters in soccer, three in basketball and three in volleyball … Two-time all-conference selection in basketball, soccer and volleyball … Team captain junior and senior season in basketball … National Honor Society … A & B honor roll all four years … High school coach Bill Galarno.

PERSONAL: Parents are Gary and Janet Buechel … Double major in art and biology … Played the bassoon for concert and quads for pep band all four years … Played for the UWSP soccer team as a backup goalie in 2008.
