Kristin LeClair is in her second year as a graduate assistant for the UW-Stevens Point cross country and track & field teams.

LeClair comes to UW-Stevens Point after completing her four-year career at Carthage in 2014. She finished in the top three in the long jump at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Indoor and Outdoor Championships six times in her career, including winning the indoor event in 2013.

She was also part of a CCIW conference-champion 4x400 relay team in 2014 that also finished 12th in the indoor national meet. LeClair was named the CCIW Athlete of the Week twice and served as a team captain in her senior season.

At the forum, she interacted in team settings learning and talking through life goals, personality strengths and job options in collegiate athletics, practiced skills discussed at a networking dinner with NCAA professionals and listened to keynote speakers discuss important collegiate athletic and graduate school topics.

Also at Carthage, she was an office assistant for the track & field team, helping create recruiting spreadsheets, assemble mailings and making phone calls to recruits. Academically, LeClair was a member of the Dean’s list for three semesters at Carthage and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology (2014) with a minor in psychology.
