Biography

2006: Started the first six games of the year and was 11-for-18 at the plate for a .611 average before suffering a season-ending injury and earning a medical redshirt...Had two doubles and eight RBI’s before injury...Went three-for-three in wins over Augsburg and Eastern Connecticut State...Pitched a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in win over Millikin...Allowed two hits and no earned runs in win over Westminster (Pa.). 2005: Started 16 games as a pitcher and 20 as a position player...Named first-team all-WIAC and first-team all-region as a utility player...Led the team in RBI’s with 20 and extra base hits with 18...Led pitching staff with 99 strikeouts in 113 innings pitched...Went two-for-two with two home runs and three RBI’s, while pitching five innings and allowing only one run and striking out five against MSOE...Had two doubles and three RBI’s while throwing six scoreless innings with eight strikeouts in 8-0 win against Northland...Hit bases loaded triple in four run sixth inning in 8-1 victory over UW-La Crosse...Threw complete game shutout allowing only three hits and striking out six in 2-0 win at UW-Oshkosh...Tossed complete game five-hit shutout with three hits at the plate in 3-0 victory at UW-La Crosse. 2004: Started 21 of team’s games on the mound and posted sixth-highest single-season strikeout total in school history with 80...Named honorable mention All-WIAC...Had season-high 10 strikeouts in a two-hit shutout of UW-Platteville...Fired a four-hit shutout against Lakeland...Allowed two hits over five innings in shutout of Edgewood...Recorded saves against Northland and UW-Stout...Had strikeouts in all but one of 25 appearances...Went two-for-four at the plate with three RBI’s in season-opener at Blackburn. 2003: Played at UW-Parkside.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named the Conference Player of the Year sophomore through senior seasons as a pitcher...Honorable mention All-State and second-team All-Area as a senior...Second-team All-Conference utility player as a freshman...Team won the City Conference championship twice and the regional championship twice...Lettered all four years in softball and lettered three years in both volleyball and basketball...Played summer softball for the Menomonee Falls Angels...Honor roll student...Member of Spanish National Honor Society.
