Katie Shulfer begins her first season as assistant softball coach at UW-Stevens Point in 2017, focusing on hitting and outfield.
In 2014, Shulfer was a student coach for the Pointers softball program under head coach Jill Millis.
Shulfer played at UWSP from 2010-2013 as a third baseman or outfielder. She was a captain for the UWSP softball program her last two seasons. Shulfer received an All-WIAC honorable mention nod her sophomore season and was first-team All-Conference as a senior.
In high school, Shulfer received the most dedicated award on her softball team at Stevens Point High School.
