Baneck enters her third season as assistant coach of the UW-Stevens Point softball team in 2026.
She helped the Pointers return to the NCAA Tournament in 2025 and make the first-ever Super Regional appearance. In 2024, she assisted in the Pointers best win output (32 wins) and first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2007.
Baneck came to UWSP from Green Bay. There, she had been a coach for the Impact Sports Academy since 2017, including head coach of the U10 softball team in 2020 and 2021. She also spent the summer of 2023 playing in Sweden and as a youth instructor while there.
As a player, Baneck was a pitcher at UW-Green Bay for five seasons. In 2023, she was the conference pitcher of the week in consecutive weeks. She was a second-team all-conference selection in 2022. Baneck was an all-academic team pick in 2023.
Baneck earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from UWGB in 2022. She also holds a coaching certificate and a master’s certificate in applied leadership.
