Coach (Craig) Woloszyn is in her fifth season as head coach of both the women’s cross country and track and field teams in 2013-14.  In 2012-13, Coach Woloszyn led the Pointers to a fourth place finish at the WIAC Cross Country Championships with a young team and had one individual qualifier, Julia Colling, for the NCAA DIII Championships.  In track and field, the team had one individual qualifier indoors and three outdoors for the NCAA DIII Championships.

In 2011-12, Coach Woloszyn’s cross country team finished second at the WIAC Championships with one individual qualifier, Kelly Haen, for the NCAA DIII Championships.  Haen finished in 13th place with a time of 21:24 for 6k, earning her All-American honors.  During the indoor track and field season, Haen qualified in the mile run finishing in eighth place with All-American honors.  Erin Kline also qualified in the 60m hurdles.  Outdoors, four Pointers qualified for the NCAA Championships, with three earning All-American honors.  Haen finished third and fifth in the 5k and 10k, Julia Colling seventh in the 10k, and Erin Kline sixth in the 100m hurdles.  Amy Krzykowski also qualified in the hammer throw.

In her first season as head coach she helped lead the cross country team to a runner-up finish in the WIAC. In addition, the Pointers took third at the Midwest Regionals, qualifying the team for the 2010 NCAA Division III Championships, their first NCAA Championship appearance in five years.  Woloszyn also had six NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship qualifiers and two outdoor qualifiers in her first year with 4 indoor (relay) and one outdoor All-Americans.

So far, 11 school records have fallen, 11 All-American honors, 11 All-Academic honors, and 4 All-Academic team honors in both cross country and track and field have been awarded under Woloszyn’ s leadership. 

Woloszyn ran for the Pointers cross country and track teams from 2001-2006, gaining many accolades along the way. She was a seven time All-American, was named UWSP Freshman Athlete of the year, won the WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar Athlete Award, and broke UWSP records in the 1500m, 4x800m relay, and the Distance Medley Relay.  She was a three time All-WIAC selection in cross country and led her team to 3rd and 6th place finishes at the NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships.  Woloszyn also helped her track & field team to a third place finish at the NCAA DIII Championships in ’03.  Woloszyn was a four-time indoor and outdoor national qualifier. She was also a six-time All-American in three different events from ’03-’05.  Woloszyn graduated from UWSP in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in physical education and health education.

From there, she obtained a master’s degree in kinesiology and sports administration from Eastern Illinois University where she served as an assistant coach with the track and field and cross country teams.  As an assistant coach, she helped EIU to its strongest recruiting class in five seasons and helped the Panthers to indoor and outdoor conference championships in 2009 and coached three NCAA Division I national qualifiers.

Woloszyn resides in Stevens Point with her husband, Adam.
