Just removed from his playing days, Noreen begins his third season as Pointers assistant coach. Noreen played as a defenseman for the Pointers from 2003-07.
Noreen was an All-NCHA Academic All-American his last two seasons and was also team captain his junior and senior seasons.
In his senior season he appeared in 26 games and had an assist against St. John’s. In his junior season he appeared in 20 games and recorded an assist against Lake Forest.
Noreen played in 25 games his sophomore season and won the team’s Most Improved Player and Classiest Player Awards. He scored his first career goal in 4-2 win over St. Scholastica.
Noreen is currently in graduate school.
