University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Scott Hoelzel is in his first year as graduate assistant coach for the Pointers in 2011-12.

Hoelzel appeared in 100 games, starting 60, for UW-Stevens Point in his four-year career. He was a member of the 2010 NCAA Division III National Championship team along with three Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championship teams.
 
For his career, he averaged 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds and ranks second in school history in highest field goal percentage in a season at 67.6 percent.

The Kaukauna native is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration through University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He recently completed his undergraduate degree at UWSP.
