Hurd is in his fifth season with the Pointers coaching staff. As the lone assistant on the 2017-18 team, Hurd helped the Pointers reach the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 Round.
In 2014-15, he was a graduate assistant at Division II Minot State of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Hurd played collegiately at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was a four-year starter, a three-year captain and a three-time All-Midwest Conference player.
