Sean McDonald is entering his first season coaching at UWSP as a Graduate Assistant Wide Receivers coach. McDonald will assume the duties of Academic Coordinator and SAAC Liaison. Before joining the pointers in August 2016

The Gladwin, MI native played division III football at Alma College in Alma, MI. In his career at Alma, he tallied 46 catches for 648 yards and 7 TD’s in 17 games. McDonald also helped guide Alma to its first winning season in 6 years. 

Prior to his time at Alma, McDonald played his high school football at Gladwin High School where he garnered all-academic and all-Jack Pine Conference accolades in 2011.

McDonald graduated from Alma in the spring of 2016 and will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Public Health at UWSP
