Dugan enters his fourth season as the defensive coordinator and focus on linebackers in 2021.
Prior to coming to UWSP, he was at Alvernia University working with linebackers for a stint following his playing days at Millersville University. Dugan started 38-straight games over his four-year career with the Marauders from 2014-17. His senior season of 2017, he earned first-team all-conference honors and led the team in tackles, the second-most in the PSAC. He also earned All-Super Region I and honorable mention DII All-American laurels that season. He also led MU in tackles as a junior and earned second-team all-conference accolades.
