Kulig comes to UWSP after a year at Mary-Hardin Baylor. The Cru were 2-0 this season with Kulig on staff working with the defensive line and special teams with wins over Belhaven and Southwestern by a combined 93-7 score.
 
Prior to arriving at UMHB, he spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Susquehanna University.  There, he worked with outside linebackers and the defensive line.  With the River Hawks, he coached two all-conference players and a pair of Team Defensive Rookies of the Year.  While at UMHB, he helped the defense rank first in the Centennial Conference two of his three years.
 
Kulig was a three-year letterwinner for St. John Fisher as a defensive lineman.  He helped the Cardinals to three-straight ECAC Bowl appearance and a berth into the quarterfinals of the NCAA DIII Championship in 2013.  St. John Fisher went 34-12 during his time on the team.  Kulig had 39 tackles, including two sacks, in 25 career games.
 
He is currently pursuing his master of science in sport administration at UMHB.  Kulig earned his bachelor of arts in communications from St. John Fisher in 2016.
