Dave Krystowiak

David Krystowiak is in his first year with the UW-Stevens Point football team, working with the tight ends and running backs.

Previously, Krystowiak served as the inaugural football coach at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, Calif., for four seasons, leading the Saints to a winning record in only their third season of competition. 

Prior to his time in California, Krystowiak served as the offensive line coach at Concordia University-Wisconsin.  During that stint, the Falcons enjoyed success winning an Illini-Badger Conference championship and qualifying for the NCAA division III playoffs in 2007.  He led an offensive line that paved way for a top ten NCAA Division III rushing offense and coached five all-conference offensive linemen.

Krystowiak played collegiality at Winona State University, starting three season as an offensive guard.  He was twice selected first-team all-conference, and was named to various all-American teams and selected team captain as a senior.  His teams qualified for the division II national playoffs twice and won three consecutive conference championships from 2003-05. 

A Burlington, Wis., native, Krystowiak earned his bachelor's degree in physical education at Winona State, and is currently working on his thesis to complete his Master's in student personnel administration from CUW. He and his wife, Emily, moved back to Wisconsin in June with their one year old son, Elijah.
