University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

A former UW-Stevens Point running back, Chris Freiman will coach at his former position this season in his first year as a student assistant coach.

Freiman played for the Pointers in 2004 and 2005 and earned offensive scout team Player of the Year honors his freshman season.

A Wisconsin Rapids native, Freiman was a second-team all-conference selection in high school. He was also a state qualifier in wrestling. Freiman is completing a degree in Mathematics.
