Derickson will coach the defensive linemen in 2018, his first season at UWSP. He will also coordinate travel and assist with the strength and conditioning of the team.
He comes to UWSP after a brief stop at Eastern Kentucky University. Prior to EKU, Derickson was the head coach at Oconto Falls High School for two seasons. While at OFHS, he coached eight all-conference players. He also has coaching stops at Independence College, Howard Payne University, Angelo State University and his alma mater, UW-Oshkosh. At UWO, he was a left tackle for the Titans from 2008 through 2011.
He received his bachelor's degree at UW-Oshkosh in 2013 and earned his master's in 2015 from Angelo State. Derickson and his wife, Jill, reside in Appleton.
