Bringing plenty of background from high school to minor league baseball, Tom McHugh lends his experience to the Pointers in his fifth year as an assistant coach.
McHugh played three seasons with the Kansas City Royals organization, advancing as high as the Class AA level. Prior to his professional experience, he played one season each at Iowa Western Community College and UW-La Crosse.
Following his playing career, McHugh was the head coach for 12 seasons at his alma mater, Wisconsin Rapids Assumption High School. He also was an assistant coach for two seasons at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School. McHugh currently lives in Wisconsin Rapids.
