Steve Considine is in his third season as assistant coach for the Pointers.

The Portage, Wis. native played in 93 career games, making 66 starts, in four years for UWSP. Considine helped lead the Pointers to a 128-66 record including four straight appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament. For his career,

Considine batted .241, including a career-high .281 in the 2010 season. He also tallied 36 RBIs, 31 runs, eight doubles and two home runs while holding a .978 fielding percentage behind the plate.

Considine graduated from UWSP in 2011 with a degree in secondary education. He lives in Portage and teaches in the Randolph school district.Â
