Kyle McHugh is in his fourth year as an assistant coach for the Pointers. He started coaching in 2016 after he graduated from UWSP in 2015.
Kyle played two years at UWSP, in 2014 and 2015. He finished his career with UWSP with a .337 batting average including 17 home runs and 107 RBIs in 92 games played.
In 2014, Kyle was first-team All-American and first-team All-Midwest Region by D3baseball.com. He was also first-team All-WIAC. He set the school record and tied the National lead with 24 doubles. He led the team in almost all hitting categories including hits (64), RBIs (61), total bases (115), and slugging percentage (.646). He also tied for the team lead with nine home runs and second on the team with a .360 batting average.
