University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Derek is in his fifth year as an undergraduate student at UWSP and in his second year as a student assistant for the UWSP baseball team. Derek attended Kimberly High School where he played first base and catcher and was coached by Ryan McGinnis. Derek also coaches the Kimberly Legion team.

Derek is currently majoring in biology with a minor in coaching. His parents are Timm and Barb. Derek’s older brother, Jason, graduated from UWSP. He also has a younger brother, Austin.
