HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time letterwinner …  WIAA Division III State Champion at 112 pounds senior year … Fifth-place finish at state tournament as a sophomore … Recorded 130 career wins … Two-time conference champion … Three-time first team all-conference … Chippewa County Wrestler of the Year in 2009.

PERSONAL: Majoring in business administration … Parents are Jim and Staci … Uncle Mark Poirier was a national runner-up for the Pointers and is in the UWSP Athletic Hall of Fame.
