Luke Venne has announced the completion of his team's 2026 schedule. The Pointers open the season at home, one of five home contests to be played at Goerke Park this fall.

UWSP opens the season on Sept. 5 against Augsburg, the first meeting on the gridiron between the programs since 1982. This season will mark the fourth meeting in the series history with UWSP picking up a win in 1965.
Week two sees the Pointers travel to Michigan for the first-ever matchup with Hope College. Last season, the Flying Dutchmen advanced to the NCAA Championships falling in the first round to UW-La Crosse, 9-7.
Non-conference play concludes on Sept. 19 as the Pointers host Pacific (Ore.) in the annual Pink Game. Last season, UWSP went to Oregon and defeated the Boxers, 36-13, in the only other meeting between the teams.
Following a bye week, UWSP opens conference play at UW-Eau Claire. The Pointers earned a 39-36 win over the Blugolds last season at Goerke Park.
On Oct. 10, the Pointers host UW-Stout for Homecoming. It will also be the annual Spud Bowl that day.
After games at UW-La Crosse and UW-Whitewater, the Pointers return home for back-to-back games against UW-Platteville (Oct. 31) and UW-Oshkosh (Nov. 7). The regular season finale sees UWSP travel to reigning national champion UW-River Falls.
All-WIAC honoree
Rhett Loken (Amherst, Wis./Amherst) and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections
Gavin Adams (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago),
Carter Dahlke (Green Bay, Wis./Notre Dame Academy) and
Andru Miller (Plymouth, Wis./Plumouth) are among key returners for the Pointers.
Single game tickets for 2026 home football games will go on sale in August.
