DUBUQUE, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team had 14 athletes compete at the Brown Terrell Invite on Sunday. No team scores were kept.
Results
Raydon Bipes (Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson) was third in the 165 bracket. He picked up four wins, two by tech fall and one each by fall and major decision.
Dylan Cariveau (St. Paul, Minn./Roseville Area) won the consolation bracket with two tech fall wins, one win by fall and the consolation title with a sudden victory.
Zach Canaday (Woodsock, Ill./Woodstock) finished third in the 184 bracket. He won twice, both by fall.
Caleb Nobiling (Antioch, Ill./Antioch Community) placed fourth in the 149 bracket. He won twice, once each by fall and by decision.
Hunter Bozile (Oconto Falls, Wis./Oconto Falls) got two wins in the bracket, one each by fall and tech fall.
Mason Markham (Elkhorn, Wis./Elkhorn Area) and
Graeson Pankratz (Little Suamico, Wis./Oconto Falls) each got a win by fall in the bracket.
In the 285 bracket,
Jack Callen (Portage, Wis./Portage) took fifth. He had three wins, two by fall and another by decision.
Gunnar Crowe (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) was sixth with two wins by falls on the day.
Michael Upson (Batavia, Wis./Random Lake) got a win by fall in the bracket.
The Pointers are next in action at the WIAC Championships on Saturday (Feb. 14) at 11:00 a.m. in Eau Claire.
