STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team feel to No. 6 UW-La Crosse by a 41-6 final in a league dual on Friday night.
 
Luca Paladino (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) got a 10-2 major decision win at 125 to start the match and put UWSP in front, 4-0.
 
Riese Thornberry (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) got a hard-fought 5-4 decision win at 149 to keep UWSP close.
 
At 174, Carson Trotzer (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) battled to a 4-2 decision loss and UWSP lost a team point for unsportsmanlike.
 
The Pointers head to the Brown Terrell Invite on Sunday (Feb. 8) beginning at 12:00 p.m.
