WHEATON, Ill. – Senior Carson Trotzer (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) won his bracket and was named Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament to close out action for the UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team at the Pete Willson Invite on Saturday.

Trotzer advanced to the finals of the 174 bracket with a medical forfeit win in the semifinals. In the championship bout, he got a third period win by fall.
 
Luca Paladino (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) also competed on Saturday in the 125 bracket. He got a win by forfeit in the semifinals. In the finals, he came up short in an 11-5 decision.
 
The Pointers are back home on Friday (Feb. 6) for a 7:00 p.m. conference dual against UW-La Crosse.
