EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team fell by a 42-4 final in a league dual at UW-Eau Claire on Thursday.

Deakin Trotzer (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) was the lone Pointers to record team points earning an 11-2 major decision win.
 
Luca Paladino (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) and Caden Young (Clintonville, Wis./Shawano Community) battled to decision losses, 7-3 and 4-2, respectively. Riese Thornberry (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) scored seven points in a major decision loss.
 
The Pointers travel to Illinois for the Pete Willson Invitational beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Jan. 30.
