WBCA Release
UWSP posted a cumulative team grade point average of 3.823 for the 2024-25 academic year to top all WIAC teams and place fourth in the country. Colorado College was the national leader, just 0.041 ahead of the Pointers.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
This year is the second-straight time UWSP was ranked in the top-25. It is the highest the Pointers were ranked since finishing third in the nation in 2013-14. Since the honor was first awarded in 2001-02, this year is the eighth time UWSP has received top-25 recognition.
