GREENWOOD, Ind. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team had four athletes -
Tristin Jantz (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central),
Maya Kunze (Stevens Point, Wis./Pacelli),
Jordan Scharf (Wauwatosa, Wis./West) and
Brooklynn Steier (West De Pere, Wis./West De Pere) - earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team as announced on Tuesday (May 13).

Jantz earned her second-straight CSC Academic All-District nod. This season, she earned WIAC Kwik Trip Singles Athlete of the Week and Doubles Athlete of the Week on Sept. 9-15. Jantz posted a 13-12 record in number one singles and a 9-16 record in number one doubles. She has been named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll in 2022-23 and 2023-24 as well as an ITA Scholar Athlete in 2023 and 2024.
Kunze nabs her first CSC Academic All-District honor. She has the third-best doubles record on the team this season with 10-12. Kunze ended the season with an overall singles record of 9-12. She earned the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll honor in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years and was named an ITA Scholar Athlete in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Scharf received her second CSC Academic All-District nod. After the 2024 fall season, she was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team. Scharf has the second-best overall singles record on the team with 15-10 and a top-five doubles record of 9-16. She was recognized as an ITA Scholar Athlete in 2022, 2023 and 2024 as well as named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll in 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years.
Steier picked up her second CSC Academic All-District honor. She ended the 2024-25 season with the best singles record on the team with 15-8 and .500 overall doubles record of 12-12. Steier was named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll in 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years as well as recognized as an ITA Scholar Athlete in 2023 and 2024.
