MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team dropped duals against No. 10 Central, 30-6, #24 Luther, 36-12, and #23 Cornell, 34-11, at the Ram Duals on Saturday.

Luca Paladino (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) went 3-0 on the day to lead the way for the Pointers. He began the day with a 7-6 sudden victory versus Central. He earned 3-1 and 4-2 decision wins against Luther and Cornell, respectively.
 
Riese Thornberry (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) got a pair of wins. He won an 11-9 decision against Luther. He got a 21-9 major decision win versus Cornell.
 
Caden Young (Clintonville, Wis./Shawano Community) earned a 5-4 decision win against Central. Logan Neitzel (Lomira, Wis./Lomira) got a win by fall versus Luther. Dylan Cariveau (St. Paul, Minn./Roseville Area) won a 16-3 major decision against Cornell.
 
The Pointers are back in action on Jan. 9 at the Budd Whitehill Duals beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET.
