STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team dropped a 35-6 dual to No. 7 UW-Whitewater in conference action on Thursday.
 
Luca Paladino (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) made his return to the mat and rallied for a 9-7 decision win. He trailed 6-2 heading to the third period. After earning a point for locked hands, Paladino got two takedowns in the final 1:20 to earn the comeback win.
 
Carson Trotzer (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) also got a decision win, 5-3. He trailed 3-2 entering the third period and got the go-ahead takedown with just over a minute remaining.
 
Owen Hansen (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) fell by a 3-2 decision at 197 in the first bout of the dual.
 
The Pointers travel to Mequon on Nov. 22 for the CUW Open. Action begins at 9:00 a.m.
