ELMHURST, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team had just eight wrestlers compete at the Al Hanke Invitational on Saturday and the Pointers finished 10th as a team.
Results
Mark Jeske (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Lincoln) picked up two victories on the day. He earned a sudden victory and a decision win in the 174 bracket.
Bryce Buchanan (Onalaska, Wis./Onalaska) got a decision win in the bracket as well.
Austin Gray (Tomah, Wis./Tomah) got two wins in the 125 bracket. He earned a win by fall and on by medical forfeit.
Jack Callen (Portage, Wis./Portage) notched two wins in the 184 bracket. He won by fall and major decision.
Zach Canaday (Woodsock, Ill./Woodstock) earned a forfeit win in the bracket.
Emmanuel Furlow (Madison, Wis./La Follette),
Logan Gould (Munising, Mich./Munising) and
Joe Kelley (Munising, Mich.) also competed for the Pointers.
UWSP is back in action with a home dual against Carthage on Thursday (Jan. 23). Action starts at 7:00 p.m.
