MEQUON, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss at Concordia (Wis.) in the Pointers' final match of the season.
Jenna Carmean (Muskegon, Wis./Mona Shores) won five games at her No. 6 singles match. She paired with
Emma Rockweiler (Reedsburg, Wis./Reedsburg Area) at No. 3 doubles in an 8-2 defeat. Rockweiler played No. 5 singles winning a game in each set.
Maya Kunze (Stevens Point, Wis./Pacelli) and
Chloe Leithold (Onalaska, Wis./Onalaska) fell at No. 2 doubles, 8-4.
Tristin Jantz (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central) and
Jordan Scharf (Wauwatosa, Wis./West) dropped an 8-3 decision at No. 1 doubles.
Leithold and Kunze won a game in each set of the No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
Thursday's match was a make-up of last Saturday's postponement.
