EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team dropped a 33-8 final at No. 7 UW-Eau Claire on Friday night in the regular season finale.
 
Easton Hull (Waupun, Wis./Waupun) got the Pointers on the board with a tech fall win, 25-10, at 157. Blake Flach (Shell Lake, Wis./Shell Lake) was the only other victorious Pointer earning a 6-5 decision win at 285.
 
Josh Heuss (Antigo, Wis./Antigo) came close at 165 dropping a 6-5 decision. Luca Paladino (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) and Cooper Peterson (Cannon Falls, Minn./Cannon Falls) lost by decision at 125 and 141, respectively.
 
The Pointers will travel to Platteville for the WIAC Championships on Feb. 17. Action begins at 12:00 p.m.
