DECORAH, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team lost both duals at the Luther Duals on Saturday. UWSP fell to Cornell, 32-2, before dropping a 29-13 decision to host Luther.
 
Riese Thornberry (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) got UWSP its only points in the dual with Cornell as he won a 4-0 decision at 141. He earned a 10-6 decision win against Luther.
 
Easton Hull (Waupun, Wis./Waupun) got an 8-4 win by decision at 184 against Luther. Logan Neitzel (Lomira, Wis./Lomira) got a major decision win, 11-3, at 197 versus the Norse. Blake Flach (Shell Lake, Wis./Shell Lake) earned a 4-1 decision at 285 against Luther.
 
The Pointers return to action on January 3 at the Hawk Classic Duals. Action in Alabama starts at 2:00 p.m.
