STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The No. 6 UW-Stevens Point men's hockey team (15-5-1, 9-2-0) staged its biggest comeback of the season in a 4-3 overtime win over UW-Stout (8-11-2, 6-5-0) on Saturday night.

The visiting Blue Devils posted three goals in the first period with goals at 2:12, 12:07 and 18:02.

UWSP goaltender Alex Proctor (Allen, Texas) made seven saves in the second period as neither team scored sending the game to the third with UWSP trailing, 3-0.

Brett Humberstone (Kingston, Ont.) got the Pointers on the board at 5:30 of the third period. Sean Bunting (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Fletcher Anderson (Thunder Bay, Ont./Sir William Churchill) had assists.

David Hill (Glen Mills, Pa.) got UWSP within one at the 8:03 mark of the third. Cody Moline (North Branch, Minn.) provided the feed on the goal.

At 18:11 of the third, Andrew Poulias (Whitby, Ont.) tallied the third of the period to tie the game at 3-3. Fetcher Anderson had another assist on the play.

The game headed to overtime. The Blue Devils made a bad line change and the Pointers took advantage. Moline passed the puck forward and Harrison Stewart (Rockford, Ill.) took the feed on a 2-on-0 with Conor Witherspoon (Metamora, Mich.).
