EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team sent five athletes to the Don Parker Open on Saturday.

Karson Richardson (Tolono, Ill./Unity) was runner-up in the consolation bracket at 285. He won a pair of decisions, 2-0 and 6-5, and once by a second-period fall.
 
Mohammed Abbosov won by fall in the preliminary round of the 149 bracket.
 
Cody Weix (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield) earned a win by fall in the consolation bracket at 197.
 
The Pointers will host the WIAC Championships on Saturday (Feb. 11). Action in Quandt Fieldhouse is et to begin at 9:00 a.m.
