DECORAH, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team lost to Wabash, 31-8, and host Luther, 36-3, at the Luther Duals on Saturday. Inclement weather forced the cancelation of UWSP's dual versus Rochester Community and Technical College.
 
Brandon Peckham (Plainfield, Wis./Tri-County) earned a 3-0 decision win at 165 against Wabash to get UWSP on the board. Trystan Altensey (Port Byron, Ill./Riverdale) notched a 17-0 tech fall at 184 against Wabash to complete UWSP's scoring.
 
The Pointers only points against Luther came in a decision win, 3-1, by Peckham at 165.
 
The Pointers travel to Platteville on Wednesday (Dec. 14) for a 7:00 p.m. conference dual against the Pioneers.
