STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team dropped a home league dual to visiting UW-Oshkosh by a 22-18 final on Thursday.
 
Luca Paladino (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) got the Pointers on the board with a 6-5 decision win at 125. He turned the tables with a last second takedown for the win.
 
At 141, Cooper Peterson (Cannon Falls, Minn./Cannon Falls) earned a 7-4 decision win to put the Pointers back in front, 6-4.
 
Brandon Peckham (Plainfield, Wis./Tri-County) took care of business at 165. He earned an 8-1 decision victory.
 
Trystan Altensey (Port Byron, Ill./Riverdale) got the only fall for the Pointers. He pinned his foe at 184 in the first period.
 
The dual ended with Ben Gunderson (Shiocton, Wis./Shiocton) winning at 285 with a sudden victory takedown, 3-1.
 
UWSP returns to action on Dec. 10 at the Luther Duals. Action begins at 11:00 a.m. that day.
