Fellow freshman Grace Michalske (Wausau, Wis./West) piled up 62 assists on the night with game-highs of 36 and 26, respectively.

Emma Peterson (Bloomington, Minn./Thomas Jefferson) posted game-highs of 17 and 18 digs, respectively, in the matches.

UWSP 3, HU 0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-21)
Sydney Mosinski (Nevada, Iowa/Nevada) had five kills in the first set, including two early as the Pointers went ahead 4-0 and never looked back.

Guresi Mena (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley) and Kopp had five kills each in a much closer second set.  At 18-16, Kopp posted a kill, Michalske served up an ace and Mosinski and Reis Derousseau (Tomah, Wis./Tomah) combined for a block to give UWSP late control of the set.

Megan Lau (Potter, Wis./Hilbert) had two early kills and was in on a pair of blocks as the Pointers took a 10-4 lead in the third set.  The Pipers fought back to within 23-21 late, but a pair of kills by Kopp closed out the set and the match.

UWSP 3, SC 0 (25-20, 25-11, 25-9)
The Pointers fell behind early in the first set 12-7.  But Kopp rallied for back-to-back kills to spark UWSP to a 12-2 run with Michalske adding a pair of aces during the run.  Mena had a kill late as the Pointers held off the Storm to take the first set.

Kopp opened the second set with a kill setting the tone for a 6-0 opening run.  Mosinski had a kill and an ace to start a five-point run and a 14-4 lead.  Three more kills by Mosinski late in the set preceded consecutive aces by Kopp to close out the set.

Abby Neutz (Annandale, Minn./Annandale) had a pair of kills early in the third set.  The Pointers rolled to the win with Molly Lawlis (Stevens Point, Wis./Pacelli) getting her first career kill in the set.  UWSP hit .565 in the third set while holding Simpson to a -.179 hitting percentage.
