MADISON, Wis. – In a unanimous decision by the chancellors of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) institutions, all winter sports events scheduled for 2020 through December 31 have been suspended.

UW-Stevens Point athletic programs affected by the decision include: men's and women's basketball, men's and women's hockey, men's and women's swimming and diving and men's and women's wrestling.
 
The WIAC also announced that it will monitor developments and make a determination regarding competitions in the spring semester at a later date.
