MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team suffered a pair of dual losses in Iowa on Saturday.  The Pointers dropped a 25-15 dual with Luther and a 32-15 dual against host Cornell.

Jordan Weinzetl (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly), Jerry Lipke (Milton, Wis./Milton) and Noah Wieczorek (Clear Lake, Wis./Clear Lake) each won both of their matches on the day. 
 
Wieczorek defeated No. 9 Keenan Feldpausch of Luther in sudden victory, 7-5, at 285.  Against Cornell, he pinned his opponent in 4:04.
 
Weinzetl won by fall at 1:52 against Luther and earned a 4-0 decision win against Cornell at 165.  Lipke won two decisions at 197.
 
Zack Moon (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley) earned a 14-5 major decision at 174 against Luther.  Colin Barker (Davis, Ill./Dakota) won a 10-8 sudden victory against Cornell at 141.
 
The Pointers travel to UW-Eau Claire on Friday (Dec. 13) for a 7:00 p.m. dual.
