STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team (13-9-3) closed out the regular season on Tuesday night with a 3-1 home victory of Concordia (Wis.) (10-12-1).

Senior Lexi Englund (White Bear Lake, MN/White Bear Lake) got the Pointers on the board eight minutes into the game.  Her third of the season came on assists from Ali Biagini (Stillwater, MN/Stillwater) and McKenna Butcher (Sun Prairie, WI/Madison Capitols).

In the second period, the Falcons scored to make it a one-goal game heading to the third period.

Late in the third period, the Pointers got a five-minute power play and took advantage with Alex Grubbs (Minong, WI/Spooner) scoring with the man-advantage to give the Pointers a 3-1 lead.  The goal was her fifth of the year.
