MEQUON, Wis. – Four goals by four different Pointers lead the UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team to a 4-1 victory over Concordia University (Wis.) this Saturday afternoon at Ozaukee Ice Center.

Senior Meredith Ingbretson (Hayward, WI/Hayward) was one of four Pointers (13-10-2) to light the lamp for UWSP, while Alex Grubbs (Minong, WI/Spooner), Cara Lemirande (Janesville, WI/Craig) and Ali Biagini (Stillwater, MN/Stillwater) also scored in the game to defeat the Falcons (10-13-2) in its final regular season game.

The Pointers opened up scoring over the Falcons early in the second period as Grubbs, assisted by Logan Harper (Gurnee, IL/Warren Township) and Meredith Ingbretson (Hayward, WI/Hayward), found the back of the net with a power play goal.

Cara Lemirande (Janesville, WI/Craig), assisted by Harper, scored her team leading 16th goal at the 15:23 minute mark to double the lead towards the end of the second frame.

Heading into the third period, the Pointers added to its scoring grove. Eleven seconds into the final period, Ali Biagini (Stillwater, MN/Stillwater) gave UWSP a commanding 3-0 lead. After three unanswered goals, the Falcons broke up the shutout as Jossa Danis scored at 1:06.
