STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point football team (4-5, 1-5) scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough in a 21-14 loss on Senior Day against UW-River Falls (4-5, 2-4) on Saturday.
Sophomore quarterback Mitchell Neubauer completed 10 of his 20 passes for 157 yards. He threw for one touchdown and scored another on the ground.

Jerry Williams (Milwaukee, Wis./Watertown) led the Pointers in rushing yards with 31 on a reverse play in the fourth quarter. He caught four passes on the day for 35 yards. Junior
Steve Herra (Rockford, Ill./Boylan) hauled in four passes for a 92 yards for UWSP.

Omarri Johnson (Milwaukee, Wis./Riverside) made a team-high 11 stops on defense. He also had the Pointers' lone sack on the day. Senior
Tyler Raschke (New London, Wis./New London) added eight takedowns in his final home game.
The Falcons capped an uneventful first half with touchdown in the closing minute of the first half. The seven-play, 32-yard drive started after a 57-yard punt returns fielded off the helmet of a Pointer.
In the third quarter, the Falcons doubled the lead with a five-play drive highlighted by a 72-yard pass on the first play to flip the field. UWRF put the Pointers down three scores after cashing in on a UWSP turnover and scored on the final play of the quarter.
The Pointers found the right gear on offense to begin the fourth quarter. On the opening drive, Neubauer completed three passes in a nine-play drive. He capped the scoring drive with a five-yard run to get the Pointers in the end zone for the first time on the day.
On the next drive, UWSP pounced on a fumble near midfield. Williams rumbled for 31 yards on the reverse on the first play following the fumble recovery. Neubauer hit
Jonte Webb (Marinette, Wis./Marinette) from 18 yards on the next play to pull UWSP within 21-14.
The Falcons ran out the clock with a 12-play drive that ended on a fourth-down kneel-down as time expired.
The Pointers travel to UW-Platteville next Saturday to conclude the regular season. Kick off at Ralph Davis Pioneer Field is slated for 2:00 p.m.
